As he grew older, Grundin's strength and skill in combat also became apparent, leading him to become a formidable warrior in the dwarven army. He fought in many battles against the enemies of Ironhammer, earning a reputation as a hero among his people.
Despite his prowess in battle, Grundin always had a deep love for the earth and spent much of his time exploring the caves and tunnels of the mountains. It was on one of these expeditions that he discovered a rare vein of mithril, a precious metal coveted by dwarves and other races alike.
Now, Grundin Rockbeard travels the land as a wandering blacksmith and warrior, seeking out new challenges and opportunities to use his skills. With his trusty hammer at his side, he is a force to be reckoned with, a true son of the mountains.
